response on ind. reading book

the book i'm reading is called the help. it talks about how a white person cares about slavery. it talks about how two black people what they are going through. the white person name is skeeter. when she was little she considered her black miad constain more of a mom. skeeter loves to write and she wants to do a book were it talks about how black people were treated and how they feel about it. but there are some problems along the way to making her book. aibeelin is a maid but she mostly cares for kids. what i like about these two women is that they love to follow their passion even though people always say it wont work.

blogs that i really like

The first blog that I read and commented on was Kayla Gonzales blog. I really like the design she choose but i aslo liked how she wrote about a song and what it means to her. she shows and writes how this song is about a guy being abuseseive to his girlfriend. She gives her opinion in details. She doesn't just write about how it talks about abuse but how it is a big problem in the world.
The second blog i really like was Fatima Khokhar blog. I didn't commented but if i were to i would say awsome to every response. I like how Fatima puts in a lot of detail into her response. Everytime I read her peoms, response, story's, etc. It blows my mind away. When i read her story's anything i can feel what the person or character is feeling. it makes you/me feel like I'm there or it is actually happening now.
The third blog I really like but didn't commented on was Kate's blog. if i were to comment it i would write nice. she is organize with her writing. i can actually understand what she is trying to tell you. i can focus on the things she is talking about and think more about those things.

Response to my papa's waltz

When I read this poem for the first time I actually thought it was about how a dad abuses his son. The father is drunk and from all the hitting the son is dizzy. But when i read it a second time i thought how the poem could be talking about a dad just having fun with his son. They are both dancing to the waltz. When it says plates falling down it could be that because they are having so much fun by accident they hit the shelves and plates fall down. The mom not laughing and with an angry face because they just broke the plates. So this poem can mean two things. About abuse or about how they are having fun, enjoying themselves.
